Opening the stage for us this year is excellent local guitarist and teacher Andy Brotherton. With 6 solo releases available through iTunes, Andy is a prolific composer and performer. Here is a clip of him live at Chez Pascal in Ledbury.
This year we are also lucky to have the outstanding jazz singer Cate Cody, who will be playing classic 1930’s numbers with her trio. Here’s some live footage of her singing ‘As Time Goes By’- what a voice!
Come early evening Leeds based band Huw Eddy & The Carnival will be taking to the stage to play their high energy melodic blend of indie-folk. Always on the road playing festivals across the UK and Europe they are no strangers to putting on a great live show. Here is the video to latest single “Cut Me Down”.
As well as several professional bands, every year we have a number of young music students – “The Young Superstars”- take to the stage to share their talent. Here is a 12 year old Tom Perez from the festival in 2013 playing “Mission Impossible”.
“The Wonder Drummers” is a band which proudly showcases talented young drummers. This year will feature around 8 drummers playing two songs each. Here is an 11 year old Euan Richardson from the festival in 2014 playing “American Idiot” by Green Day.
